# Symptom Tracking

Our symptom tracking feature allows users to easily record an individual's reported symptoms on the sideline and update any changes throughout the recovery process, using the symptoms checklist.

Severity of 22 standard symptoms can be scored by the individual in timestamped entries, using a 6-point subjective scale.

These 22 standard symptom Likert Scale (opens new window) can be broken into four categories:

  • Physical
  • Cognitive
  • Sleep-Arousal
  • Emotional

# Physical Symptoms

There are 10 symptoms that fall under the physical category. These are:

  • Sensitivity to light
  • Sensitivity to noise
  • Blurred vision
  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Neck pain
  • Balance problems
  • "Pressure in head"
  • "Don't feel right"
  • Nausea or vomiting

# Cognitive Symptoms

There are 5 symptoms that fall under the cognitive category. These are:

  • Feeling slowed down
  • Feeling like "in a fog"
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Difficulty remembering
  • Confusion

# Sleep-Arousal Symptoms

There are 3 symptoms that fall under the sleep-arousal category. These are:

  • Fatigue or low energy
  • Trouble falling asleep
  • Drowsiness

# Emotional Symptoms

There are 4 symptoms that fall under the emotional category. These are:

  • Nervous or Anxious
  • Irritability
  • More emotional
  • Sadness
