# What does it measure?

The Memory Test measures two things:

  • Working memory - an evaluation of information processing and short term storage and recall
  • Delayed recall - measures storage and retrieval of information after a distraction period

# Test Administration

The Memory test takes approximately 3 minutes to complete.

Before starting your test, turn your phone on to "Do Not Disturb" mode and ensure your device is at maximum brightness.

Remove Distractions
To achieve accurate results, it is important to stay focused while testing.

# Step 1

When you begin the test, you will be prompted with 3 letters. You will have 3 seconds to memorize these letters before continuing on to the next part of the test. You will be asked to recall these letters at the end of your test.

# Step 2

The working memory portion of the test involves memorizing sequences played on the screen, and immediately recalling that sequence. As you continue to get sequences correct, they will progressively get more and more difficult. This part of the test will continue until you get a sequence incorrect.

# Step 3

Once you complete the working memory portion of the test, you will be asked to recall the 3 letters from Step 1.

# Results Interpretation

The memory test is scored on a scale of 0-100.
